The paper is of value to researchers in the area of technology adoption and banking service providers in urban India.*FAST transfers are only available for Singapore dollar account transfers in Singapore between the 19 participating banks.Ĭredit card funds transfer - Use your credit card as a cash advance facility to transfer funds easily between your own Standard Chartered accounts, to third-party Standard Chartered accounts or to any GIRO participating bank accounts – The paper investigates the adoption of internet technologies by banking users by proposing an extended TAM model that is more appropriate to capture the issues related to adoption in urban India. – This research enables internet banking service providers in urban India to design new service offerings or modify current service offerings to achieve higher adoption rates in internet banking. The attitude toward the use of internet banking can be used to predict the intention to use internet banking systems by users. – The factors of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, awareness, quality of internet connection and computer self-efficacy are primary determinants of the attitude toward the use of internet banking in urban India. Structural equation modeling was used to identify the important factors affecting internet banking technology adoption. Data were collected from 344 individuals who are either current/prospective internet banking users. Primary data relating to the variables affecting technology adoption and demographic profile are collected using a questionnaire survey. The proposed model is referred to as extended TAM and is better suited to identify and quantify the important factors that influence adoption of internet banking technology. – A model has been proposed based on the technology acceptance model (TAM). – The purpose of this paper is to understand the factors influencing adoption of internet banking in urban India. These findings can assist developers of recommender systems in their attempt to maximize users' experience. Additionally, users' previous skills strongly influence perceived ease of use, which directly impacts on perceived usefulness of the system. The results evince that perceived usefulness of the system has more impact than perceived ease of use to motivate acceptance of recommendations. The experiment included 116 users who answered a satisfaction survey after using a movie recommender system. Within the basic TAM model, we incorporate a new latent variable representing self-assessed user skills to use a recommender system. Bearing in mind this gap in the research, we apply the technology acceptance model (TAM) to evaluate user acceptance of a recommender system in the movies domain. In general, the study of recommender systems emphasizes the efficiency of techniques to provide accurate recommendations rather than factors influencing users' acceptance of the system however, accuracy alone cannot account for users' satisfying experience. The incorporation of DTPB in the banking sector during COVID-19 could implicate theoretical contribution in disruption situations. Study provides implications for banking managers to optimize their advanced MBS to attract customers and enhance their attraction towards mobile banking applications. The variable representing COVID-19 also showed a direct significant effect on behavior. The results also showed the significant positive effect of the direct impact of perceived behavioral control over behavioral intention. However, Social influence does not show any significant direct relationship with behavioral intention. ![]() According to the results, the relationship of attitude with behavioral intention is significantly positive. The data was analyzed using SPSS and Jamovi, to measure the structure model. The data were collected from 150 respondents through the convenience sampling technique. ![]() This model is designed based on DTPB with a modification of COVID-19. Current study aims to measure the impact of this disruption on customers' intention to adopt Mobile Banking Services (MBS) offered during the pandemic.
